DJ MJC's Homemade Philly Style Water Ice

This is my 1st video like this with my adorable son. Please excuse my camera man & my poor audio. 1) boil 1 cup sugar with 1 cup of water until the sugar dissolves, then allow it to cool 2) add one cup of fruit juice/flavoring (preferably something with corn syrup) to the simple syrup 3) pour all the ingredients into the Cuisinart Ice-45 Ice-Cream Maker 4) allow to churn for 30-45 minutes until no more liquid or fast melting is visible when scooped using a teaspoon 5) remove the water ice from the machine with a spatula & add finely chopped pieces of fruit or zest to compliment your chosen flavor(s) 6) add flavored vodkas by Pinnacle or Smirnoff for an adult variatiom 7) store any remaining mixture in an airtight container in your freezer 8) put any frozen water ice into a blender for a few seconds when you want to wet your taste buds all over again
